The Center’s Director, Karl Grandin, has recently been appointed member of the scientific committee of the Enrico Fermi Museum and Research Centre (CREF) in Rome.
Both the scientific committee and an evaluation committee were on site when the different departments at the Fermi Research Centre presented their various activities on February 20, 2025. The Enrico Fermi Museum and the interdisciplinary physics activities are located in the former Royal Institute of Physics on Via Panisperna, best known for the scientific breakthroughs with slow neutrons that Enrico Fermi and his colleagues made there in 1934.
